A Letter from Spokane-based SEO and Web Design Company to a business owner.
Imagine having an employee...
He is your best one. He doesn't take vacations. Nor days off. He works for you day and night, while you work or sleep. While you are on vacation, or when you are sick.
He brings customers and growth to your business 24/7, while costing you a fraction of what he gives...
That's not what you typically consider when thinking of a website. It's a portfolio, a pretty reference place, something you "have" to have if you are a "serious" businessman... But it's not really something that drastically impacts the growth of your business on daily basis.
Shouldn't be like that.
Hey, I am Dmitry.
Husband, father of 3, got business growth degree.
Well, not really. Rhymes nicely though. But yes, I have invested much time, money and brain into figuring out how to help businesses grow and thrive in our digital age- stuff they don't teach you in college.
Gotten successful with it and now helping local businesses around the nation to get to the next level.
Funny, but just as I was typing this, one of my recent clients messaged me saying he is overwhelmed with the amount of work I brought to him over the last few days... True story.
Don't get me wrong, word of mouth is still the king of marketing. Yet, you are seriously undersestimating your potential if that's the only growth strategy you choose. Having strong online presence on top of that will save you years, maybe even decades, enabling your company to streamline into success.
Let me explain what I mean.
Did you know that today 85% of all consumers will go online to find a local business they'll work with?
Not into a building. Not the newspaper. Not even to their best friend. Online. And with millions of searches every day, more than 60% of those consumers will do so from their smart phone; 90% of them will actually end up buying from those they have found.
Maybe you did know this.
The real question is this: Is your business being found whenthey are searching?
Is it being found among the ocean of websites by those specific customers who are specifically looking for your services at a specific time of the day OR night? I am not even asking if your business is present online, most likely it is. No, the question is this: is it being found online?
Because if it's not- you are losing tremendous potential. You are losing money, time, resources, energy that otherwise could have been spent more strategically, more effectively, and simply- more enjoyably. You are losing the precious time needed to achieve your personal business goals.
Let's take this a step further.
Take a look at this pie chart. It may seem boring, but it will change your business if you'll take it seriously.
These days, if you are not on page 1 of Google, or possibly 2, you are out of luck.
Think about it.
You could be a professional at what you do, very passionate about it, have great prices and an amazing product, BUT if you are not on page 1, the majority (91.5%) of your potential customers are lost.
Let's take it even further. Let's even say you are on page 1. The fact is 62% of those 91.5% customers will go to the top 3 spots on page 1, out of which the whooping 32% solely to the spot #1- the golden spot. I am not making this up, read this.
This becomes even more tangible when you look up the revenue numbers of those companies. Often, the exact same pattern can be observed. Those who are ranking on page 1 are making way more than those on page 2. And of course, the spot #1 is making bank.
You advertise on Craigslist? That’s good, but many people would have an issue seriously trusting your business. You are on Facebook? Not bad either, but so is most of your competition.
Online Ads? Most people don't trust ads. Less than 10% are actually choosing ads over organic results. Plus, it is expensive!
You have a website? Not bad, but, again, does it work hard for you? Is it being found? Is it making your phone ring? Or is it one of those beautiful, but lazy websites that's collecting dust on page #9...or even page #3.
When searching online customers go with the results that:
1. Can be trusted
2. Are first in line
Customers tend to trust search engines, especially Google. Don’t ask me why, that's just how it works nowadays. Plus, nobody has the time to scroll through page #3, #4, #10. They need it now! In fact, quite likely that's how you have found this site. You typed in "Spokane SEO and web design company", and here you are readin it.
Btw, SEO simply stands for search engine optimization, if that's not how you have found us.
Do yourself a favor, type into Google the key service your business provides followed by your city and see how Google ranks you. That’s probably going to be the most realistic picture of your business's ranking in an online world... and therefore-its' future potential.
Not very fair, I know, but that's reality. Whether you adapt or protest is up to you, of course. Hey, and if you are at the top of page 1, that's GREAT, you probably shouldn’t read further.
You should be thinking seriously about your business’s presence online if you want to be seriously growing your business. Period. Numbers don’t lie.
Back to me.
I am not a typical web-designer, nor am I a web-developer really. Not SEO nerd only.
I believe that in order to make your business a heavy weight champion in the local web arena, one needs to have all of these skills+ good common business sense.
That’s what most website companies are lacking. They can make a beautiful website, but it will rarely be seen by anyone except the owner himself. It's like keeping a brand new car in the garage all the time...
What the business owner really needs is an entrepreneurial, business mind that understands that the bottom line is the revenue increase.
I utilize technical skills, but with this focus in mind: How to help your business grow. How to make your phone ring. How to increase you sales.
I do so by creating websites that work for their business.
Work hard. Perhaps harder than any of your employees.
They are on page 1. They get found. They generate business. Much more business.
There are many interesting components to how this works, but for now, just know that when you are ready to take your business to the next level, we are ready to talk.
However, I don’t work with every business, only one in a specific industry and in a specific city.
Therefore, if you are interested in working with me, please submit an application form on your right. Describe the details of what you do to see whether your business qualifies.
That is of course, if you are ready for more work; if you have strong ambitions for your business's future and some savings to invest into making it happen.
I know how to make it happen. I have done it. Check the PROOF page.
Important: If you are happy with your current situation, please refrain from contacting. This is only for those who are hungry for growth; ready to hire more employees, ready to buy more equipment, etc.
P.S. - If you are not happy with the results over the first 90 days- I'll return your money.
